Whether your style is farmhouse or modern and minimalist this clock would be perfect for your home or office.

 

All my clocks are made from wood which I have collected from tree fall from my local forest and surrounding area, I then slice it up on my bandsaw and stack it in my garden for at least two years to air dry. Slowly air drying retains a lot more of its colour than kiln drying does. Once I have dried it out I then have to bring it into workshop for a few weeks to acclimatise it to an indoor environment before any work can be done, as this helps eliminate wood movement and warping.

When the work has been done I apply two coats of lemon oil which does two things, helps preserve the wood and brings the grain out for us to marvel at, then I apply two coats of quality clear wood wax.
