Elegant Spalted Birch and Mahogany Jewellery Box
When you google “jewellery box” you get absolutely bombarded with square box after square box, all made from MDF with glossy veneers, if you have been searching for something different, something a bit special and unique then hopefully your search is over!
Every single one of my handmade jewellery boxes are all made from solid hardwoods, each one has its own individual character and style and would be a feature on top of any dresser.
A beautifully made 3 draw jewellery box, the tear drop is made from a piece of heavily spalted birch and the neck is a type of mahogany, it has English oak handles on the draws which are lined with dark red felt, the box is finished with 3 coats of Danish oil and two coats of wax.
