English Oak and Sunset Gold Pearlescent Resin Wall Clock

All my clocks are created by using high quality resin with UV protection which means it won’t “yellow” unlike cheaper resins!

The pigment powders are sauced from quality suppliers, the effects they create are truly stunning and by mixing different colours the choice is endless!! If you would like to discuss a different colour please contact me.

Additionally, this clock has been finished with a high-quality wood wax and lemon oil, the clock movement takes a single AA battery

This Clock is made from English oak which  I saved from my local forest after a storm had felled it.

after air drying for two years I then planned it flat then carefully split it along the grain taking care to follow the natural grain pattern of the tree, once I had made the mould I then set The pieces of oak in and poured in the first layer of resin, once cured and the wood held in place I the poured the sunset gold pearlescent resin in. After that had cured (72 hours plus!)I then poured a layer of clear resin, again waiting for it to cure I then sanded flat and smooth before cutting out the back for the clock movement then routing out the clock face, then mixing a small amount of red russet resin to fill in the clock face, once cured even more sanding and rounding over the edge then the final clear coat of resin on top.
