English Oak has a natural beauty unlike any other which is why it commands such a high price! Not to dark and not to light and adorned with such stunning figure it is surely one of the finest, and this piece doesn’t disappoint.
English Oak is by far my most favourite wood, each piece is utterly unique with stunning figure and grain patterns.
With its wavy live edges and contrast between the sap wood and the heart wood it can’t get any more beautiful than this!
This chunky wooden watch box is made from a beautifully figured piece of English oak front and back, the ends, lid and bottom are made from red oak which blends seamlessly into the English oak.
it has 4 large compartments inside so would easily fit larger watches
the lid slides out from one end
the box has been finished with two coats of lemon oil and two coats of clear wax.
