Modern Resin and Wood Wall Clock.
This Clock is made from some very rare spalted birch which I carefully split along the grain, after making a mould I poured some silver pearlescent epoxy resin into the gap to create the river of metal running down the middle.
After a week the resin is fully cured so I can start the hours and hours of sanding and polishing, I didn’t want it to glossy so no polish was used in the final stage, just a couple of coats of clear wax, the clock face is routed out and then filled with magenta epoxy, with gold clock hands.
