This Beautiful watch box is made from wild mango, with Panga Panga wood for the legs, handles and centre strip.

mango is a hardwood like oak, and is just as sturdy and hardwearing

Originally native to Southeast Asia, particularly India and Myanmar, the presence of mango wood grew with the thriving mango industry, the best fruits come from younger trees so are constantly being planted and replaced which makes this a very sustainable wood.

Panga panga comes from eastern Africa, and from November to January as a seasonal rains commence large lilac flowers appear, the leaves are very similar to  our English Beech tree.

It  is a exotic tropical hardwood, the heartwood is a very dark brown with black streaks, and occasionally has yellow flecks!

This box can hold up to 4 watches, It has two draws, both with two compartments which are lined with green felt.

It has been finished with two coats of brushed on clear wood wax.
